Junior high dancers first in competition

The Sweet Home High School Junior High Dance Team placed first out of 10 teams at a competition on Feb. 2 at Oregon City.

They had previously placed second among five teams in Estacada on Jan. 5.

Upcoming competitions are set for March 2 at Clackamas Community College and March 16 at Stayton High School. The team will perform at the junior high during a basketball game with a raffle.

The team is coached by Tiffany Scott and Amy Belveal.
