Sweet Home Junior High’s wrestling team celebrates its first-place finish at the Central Linn District Tournament Saturday, Jan. 21. Holding the cup is Mat Pitts, who placed second. Individual champions for the Tigers were Colten Holly, Taylor Tagle, Matthew Grove, Mitchell Grove, Kyle Hummer, Brock Crocker and Anthony Albright. In addition to Pitts, Tyler Holly and Alix Veitenheimer also were runner-ups in their divisions. Third-place finishers were Jacob Jewel, JP Williams, Davis Walters, Brad Pitts and Ethan Rowe. Jason Driver and Cody Daniels placed fourth, Nick Nivison placed fifth and Bryce Sieber placed sixth.
