A Linn County jury failed to reach a verdict on whether Robert Peel had killed a man who was later found in Foster Reservoir.
Last week, the jury found Peel guilty on a charge of conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance, methamphetamine.
The jury started deliberating on Feb. 8 and continued through Tuesday last week, Senior Deputy District Attorney George Eder said. At the end of the day Tuesday, the jury returned to the courtroom…
