Karen Anne McNamara

Karen Anne McNamara, 72, of Sweet Home passed peacefully on March 8, 2024 in her home. Born in Stillwater, OK to Malcolm and Doris (White) O’Neil, she grew up in Watertown, MA and lived for many years in Nashua, NH. She later went on to live in Seattle, WA, San Diego, CA, Brookings, Junction City and spent her final years in Sweet Home. She worked for Lockheed/BAE for many years in southern NH.
Karen was a dog lover who spent many years enjoying Dog Beach in Ocean Beach San Diego and went on to became a cat lady after moving to Oregon. She was fiercely independent, a wonderful mother, great friend, and her greatest joy was time spent with her grandson, Finn.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa Sheehan, her son-in-law Jerry Sheehan, and her beloved grandson Alexander Finn Sheehan. She is preceded in death by her brothers Michael O’Neil and Daniel O’Neil.
