Katherine Laura Chenoweth, 93, of Sweet Home, died July 13, 2020 at her home.
She was born June 11, 1927 in Petrolia, Calif., to William Attys and Elizabeth (Dukes) Lockwood.
She grew up in Petrolia until high school, when she moved to Ferndale, Calif., in 1940 and went to school. She moved to Oakland, Calif., at 18 in 1944.
