Kenneth “Dale” Lefler, 69, of Sweet Home died Sept. 25, 2014.
He was born Nov. 5, 1944 in Livermore, Calif. to Pauline Saphronia (Villers) and Loral Kenneth Lefler,
He was raised in Coleville, Wash. and came to Oregon after his military service.
Mr. Lefler served honorably in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era. He moved to Sweet Home in 1968 and worked at Santiam Supply for many years before he retired.
Mr. Lefler’s favorite winter pastime was snowmobiling. He also enjoyed gardening and working on his cabin.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Sweet Home; daughters Tammie McCorkhill and son-in-law Rod of Sweet Home, and Dixie Oxender and son-in-law Monte of Lebanon; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Lefler was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Wagner.
