Kenneth Leroy Volk, 72, of Sweet Home, died Thursday, Sept. 22.
He was born April 19, 1933 in Effie, Minn., to Albert and Eloise (Fransisco) Volk.
He moved to Mapleton with his family when he was 16. He married Carol Rapp in 1980.
Mr. Volk has lived in Sweet Home for the past seven years. He was the manager of Country Star RV Park in Foster.
He is survived by: his wife Carol, his children; Melodi Volk of Washington; Tami Grazer and Lisa Philip of Oregon; stepchildren Mitchel Green of Illinois, Kenneth Green of Georgia and George Green Jr. of Georgia; brother Ralph Volk of Oregon; and sisters Florence Emerson and Margie Holst of Oregon and Oralee Rahier of Minnesota.
He is preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters and his parents.
Memorial services will be 3 p.m.Thursday, Sept. 29, at Foster Lake Bed and Breakfast.
