Kerry Claasen and Tom Modin have announced their engagement to marry in September 2009.
Claasen is the daughter of Dave Claasen of Brownsville and Debbie and Ron Barker of Albany.
She is a 2000 graduate of Sweet Home High School and a 2005 graduate of Oregon State University with a bachelor’s degree in HDFS. She is an administrative assistant at ATI Wah Chang in Albany.
Modin is the son of Steve and Jan Modin of Albany. He is a 1996 graduate of South Albany High School.
He is an outside sales manager with Pacific Power Tech in Eugene.
