David Strom, of the Sweet Home Kiwanis Club was presented a plaque for his service as Lt. Governor in 2008-09 by current Kiwanis Lt. Gov. Bob Bernhard during a joint meeting Oct. 12 with the Kiwanis Club of Lebanon. Two new presidents were installed by Bernhard: Susan Angland for the Sweet Home Club and Ian Rollins for the Lebanon Club. Jane Crocker Strom received appreciation for her work as Lt. Governor during the year just ended and Larry Angland was recognized by Kiwanis International for his work in the club. Both of the Stroms were honored as Distinguished Kiwanians by Kiwanis International. Additionally, the Kiwanis Club of Sweet Home was honored as Distinguished Club by Kiwanis International and was also recognized for being an Outstanding Club by the Pacific Northwest District of Kiwanis International.
