Kristal White, Jason Carroll marry

Kristal White, daughter of Lee and Marlene White of Sweet Home, and Jason Carroll, son of Thomas and Debbie Carroll of Salem, were married on Aug. 6 at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.

They had an evening wedding in an outside garden with their family and friends. A reception was held afterward in the bride’s parents’ backyard garden, with music and dancing.

The bride wore a white strapless lace dress and carried a bouquet of 18 white roses.

Matron of honor was sister of the bride Corina Seamons of Bend. Best man was friend of the groom John Kawasoe of Gearheart.

The bride was given away by her father.

The bride graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1998.

The groom graduated from Sprague High School in 1992. He attended Oregon State University for two years. He then became a member of the Professional Golfers Association and now is a gold professional at Astoria Golf and Country Club.

The couple spent a week in Las Vegas with friends and family.

The newlyweds live in Astoria.
