Former Sweet Home wrestler Kyle Temple has been named head wrestling coach at Sprague High School.
Temple, 25, a 2008 graduate of Southern Oregon University, where he was a varsity wrestler for four years, accepted the job June 25, he said.
“I didn’t know if I had a shot or not,” he said of his decision to go for the job. “Sprague is a wealthier school and they have a strong wrestling tradition.”
