Lars Arndt, Laura Ulshafer wed

Laura Ulshafer and Larsen Arndt were married on July 12, 2008 in Anaheim, Calif., at the First Congregational Church of Aneheim.

Approximately 250 attended the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ron and Joyce Ulshafer of Brea, Calif. She is a teacher.

Arndt is the son of Don and Bonnie Arndt of Sweet Home. He is a logger.

Maid of honor was Anne Ulshafer, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Cathryn Ulshafer, sister of the bride; Anna Arndt, sister of the groom; and Ashley Arndt, sister of the groom. Friend of the bride Gabriella Vivona was the flower girl.

Groomsmen were Marshall Arndt, brother of the groom; Jarrod Brown, friend of the groom; and Lee Rankin, friend of the groom. Daniel Oakey, friend of the couple, was ring bearer. Best man was cousin of the groom Allen Campera.

The bride was given away by her father.

The newlyweds took their honeymoon on a road trip through Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon national parks and through eastern Oregon.

A reception was held in Oregon on Aug. 2 in Don and Bonnie Arndt’s backyard. It was attended by many “dear friends” and family.

Larry and Donna Chafin of Chafin Farms entertained everyone with carriage rides, and Russ and Bev Hurst gave rides in their 1929 Model A.

The couple lives in Sweet Home.
