Laverne T. Long, 92, of Sweet Home died Jan. 20, 2009.
He was born Nov. 15, 1916 in Haldane, Ill. to Howard and Bessie (Conrad) Long.
Mr. Long moved with his family to the McMinnville area when he was a child. He married Clara Apple in 1938, later divorcing after their children were grown. He had lived in Sweet Home since 1954. He owned his own logging truck…
