Join Linn-Benton Community College for our first Biannual Powwow on Saturday, Nov. 6 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the LBCC Activities Center.
The event if free and open to the public.
The grand entry is at 7 p.m. We are honored to have Nick Sixkiller, Education Specialist with the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, as master of ceremonies. This is a wonderful opportunity for those who have never experienced native culture or for those who are already a part of it.
Join us for dancing, drumming and lots of traditional food and fun. There will be both food vendors and native art vendors, and we will be giving away original artwork created by LBCC ITS welding students.
This free event is co-sponsored by the LBCC Health and Human Services Division. For more information, contact the LBCC Multicultural Center at 917-4461.
