Leanna Blankenship, Leif Erickson tie knot

Leanna Blankenship and Leif Erickson were married at 4 p.m. on Sept. 24 at Atavista Farm in Brownsville.

The bride wore a gown that gathered to one hip and was adorned with beads around the neckline

Her headpiece was the same one her mother wore in her wedding, and the necklace she wore was her grandmother’s. The groom, along with his groomsmen, wore a custom-made real-tree camouflage vest.

The bride’s bouquet was made of sunflowers, Peruvian lilies and greenery.

Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Jessica Blankenship. Bridesmaids were Ava Dishaw, friend of the bride; Breanna Richardson, cousin of the bride; and Faith Helfrich, friend of the bride.

Best man was Robert Havley, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were TJ McCraven, friend of the groom; Brandon Larsen, friend of the groom; and Sam Blankenship, twin of the bride.

The flower girl was Abbi Lovik, niece of the groom; and ring bears were Landon and Colton Savri, cousins of the bride.

The guest book was handled by Stephanie Borello, sister of the groom, and Conna Erickson, twin of the groom.

The bride arrived in a horse-drawn carriage as a surprise to the groom. She was escorted down the aisle by her father, Kevin Blankenship. Albert Bray, grandfather of the bride, officiated the wedding.

A buffet dinner of smoked salmon and steak was enjoyed at the reception and dancing afterward.

The couple lives in the Sweet Home area.
