Devin Richard Anderson, 32, was charged April 28 with unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, resisting arrest and second-degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $10,000.
On April 17 the court approved a motion by the state to dismiss with prejudice charges of DUII and unauthorized use of a vehicle against Brent Edwards Bowers, 26.
Chandler Louis Brown, 24, was charged May 2 with strangulation constituting domestic violence, fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and recklessly endangering another person.
Danielle Lee Buckner, 51, was charged April 17 with two counts of recklessly endangering another person, two counts of third-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, two counts of failure to perform the duties of a driver to injured persons, and reckless driving.
Earl Albert Gillott Jr., 58, was sentenced to 15 days jail and 24 months supervised probation based on a plea of no contest to fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence.
Keely Minnie Lilli Gomez, 18, was charged April 21 with unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Kayla M. Heath, 34, was charged April 21 with first-degree criminal mischief, strangulation, fourth-degree assault and recklessly endangering another person for allegations involving a person in her care.
Joshua Latre Jett, 25, was charged May 1 with fourth-degree assault and first-degree arson.
Caleb Ray Lybarger, 18, was charged April 28 with second-degree online sexual corruption of a child and luring a minor. Bail was set at $5,000. On May 1 he was charged with three counts of first-degree sexual abuse for allegations involving a minor under 14 years old.
Sean David McKee, 34, was charged May 4 with fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence, harassment constituting domestic violence and coercion constituting domestic violence. Court records indicate McKee has been convicted in at least four fourth-degree and second-degree assault cases. Bail was set at $25,000.
Nathan Patric Miller, 19, on May 16 was found guilty of speeding 104/65 on I-5 on Feb. 5. He was fined $450.
James C. Pearsall, 37, was sentenced May 5 to five days jail, 24 months supervised probation and a $100 fine based on a plea of no contest to fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence. A charge of unlawful use of a weapon was dismissed.
Joshua Eino Pruitt, 28, was charged April 7 with first-degree criminal mischief and three counts of fleeing or attempting to elude. Bail was set at $10,000. He pleaded no contest to the criminal mischief charge and on May 9 was sentenced to 21 months with the Oregon Dept. of Corrections (concurrent to time being served on other cases), 12 months supervised post-prison supervision and a $200 fine. The three counts of fleeing charges were dismissed.
Pruitt was also sentenced to one year revocation of a driver’s license, 90 months with the Oregon Dept. of Corrections, 12 months post-prison supervision and $600 in fines based on a plea of no contest to three separate charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle. A charge of second-degree criminal mischief was dismissed.
Teddi Lee Gladys Randall, 39, was sentenced May 5 to a $100 fine based on a plea of no contest to second-degree attempt to commit a Class A misdemeanor. A first-degree burglary charge was dismissed.
Rachelle Dawn Reed, 32, was charged May 6 with DUII. On May 10 she was placed in the DUII diversion program after she pleaded no contest for driving with a .15% BAC.
Colton Michael Robert Rictor, 21, was sentenced May 15 to 30 days jail, 36 months supervised probation, and a $200 fine based on a plea of no contest to felon in possession of a firearm, a Class C felony.
Aaron Carlyle Scott, 34, was charged April 14 with DUII and reckless driving.
Ryan Matthew Scott Sr., 38, was sentenced to 12 months with the Oregon Dept. of Corrections and 24 months post-prison supervision based on a plea of no contest to strangulation constituting domestic violence. A harassment charge was dismissed. In a separate case, the court allowed a motion to dismiss with prejudice charges of failure to appear and felon in possession of a restricted weapon.
Abrianah Malayna Smith, 24, was charged April 25 with first-degree arson involving allegations that caused $50,000 or more in damage. Bail was set at $25,000.
Tara Ann Stanley, 33, was sentenced April 14 to 10 days jail, 18 months supervised probation and a $100 fine based on a plea of no contest to first-degree theft. A failure to appear charge was dismissed.
Aundra Dawn Tillotson, 25, was charged April 19 with first-degree burglary, first-degree theft and unauthorized use of a vehicle. Bail was set at $20,000.
Christina Ann Watts, 34, was sentenced May 12 to 60 days jail, 60 months supervised probation and a $200 fine based on a plea of no contest to first-degree burglary. Charges of second-degree criminal mischief and two counts of attempt to commit a Class A misdemeanor were dismissed.
Meagen Rae Veirs, 31, was granted an extension in the DUII diversion program on April 28.

8:13 a.m. – Stolen wallet reported from 700 block of B Street. According to the Sheriff’s Office, caller had dropped wallet at one of several places south of Lebanon the night before. Caller noticed several unsuccessful attempts on the account to move money to Venmo, or CashApp. Report taken. Investigation continuing.
8:23 a.m. – Michael Perez, 53, of Lebanon, was cited for driving without valid license, Cascade/Wagon Wheel drives.
3:43 p.m. – A deputy found a female at a vacant home, 38600 block of Green Drive. The woman claimed to be a third-party inspector for bank, which she had been in the past, but not on this occasion. According to the Sheriff’s Office, this was a “work from home” gig in which people sign up for “IvueIt,” which businesses can pay to have freelance workers take pictures and gather info for many different things. According to the LCSO, real estate firms have had such freelancers perform “home inspections,” paying them $7 to take a couple of photos of a property and answer questions if the realtors are not from the area. LCSO has encountered people who claim to be performing a “house inspection” and are using this as an excuse to be on a property for nefarious reasons. This is becoming more and more prevalent recently because anyone can sign up on the app. The female was warned and advised and the home was resecured.

1:57 p.m. – Caller reported a fraudulent check for $2,500, 31700 block of Headgate Road. According to Sheriff’s Office, this was a check that was in some mail that was stolen a few months ago. The check had the ink scraped off, and the suspect wrote over the old writing. The check looked obviously fraudulent and was reported by the bank. The suspect took off, but Sheriff’s Office has their information and “will be locating them for an interview on how they came about the check.” Report taken.

2:21 p.m. – Motor vehicle crash reported in the 33400 block of Brewster Road. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Noel Burford, 18, of Sweet Home, was driving a 2011 Ford Focus when he pulled onto the road in front of a 2012 Toyota Rav4. That driver’s identity was not available. The Toyota driver was transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Report taken.

5:45 a.m. – A semi chip truck was stopped in the area of South Main and Oak streets for cruising in passing lane without passing anyone. The driver was warned and advised, and requested that other drivers be informed of the violation.
12:45 p.m. – Ashley Jones, 36, of Lebanon, was cited for driving uninsured, 38400 block of River Drive.

5:28 p.m. – Sean McKee, 34, of Salem, was taken into custody for domestic harassment and cited on a warrant, 36800 block of Rock Hill Drive. Report taken.

10:36 a.m. – Boat trailer reported stolen from the 400 block of S. 13th Street. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the trailer, which was parked at a rental house, had been stolen over the previous few days. It was described as a black, single-axle 14-foot-long boat trailer without a boat. Report taken.

3 a.m. – Deputy spotted a male pointing in the dark, 500 block of W. Airport Road. The deputy was unable to determine why. It turned out that the man was looking at constellations in his driveway.
April 28
4:05 p.m. – Caller reported that another vehicle side-swiped hers while entering a corner at Rock Hill Drive/Central Avenue. The caller’s driver’s side was damaged, but no injuries were reported. The suspect driver did not stop. Investigation continuing. Report taken.
7:10 p.m. – A non-injury motor vehicle crash was reported in the 37200 block of Rock Hill Drive. According to Sheriff’s Office, Zachariah Winney, 21, of Sweet Home, was driving a 1997 Ford Mustang when he fell asleep and drove into the ditch on the side of the road. No one was injured and the vehicle was towed from the scene. Report taken.

1:14 p.m. – Caller reported a riding lawn mower stolen from a yard in the 30300 block Horseshoe Loop. The gray and red TroyBuilt riding mower, valued at $2,400, was taken from caller’s front yard. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.
3:38 p.m. – Gregory Toole, 32, of Lebanon, was cited for improper use of 911 after a report of a trespass in the 2400 block of Fuller Lane. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Toole called 911 multiple times, reporting a parking complaint, none of which rose to the level of requiring 911. Report taken.

1:20 a.m. – Season Bartley, 42, of Lebanon, was cited and released for an outstanding warrant, 31900 block of Bellinger Scale Road. Report taken.
9:51 a.m. – Caller expressed concerns about a “card flipper” possessed by a student, 32100 block of Berlin Road. Caller was advised by Sheriff’s Office that it was a parental discipline matter, not a law enforcement issue. A flipper is an electronic tool that transmits signals that can activate and deactivate electronics, similar to a universal remote. Youth are buying them online and using them for mischievous purposes, thanks to their popularity on TikTok.
1:18 p.m. – Loyd Patten, 52, was arrested on multiple warrants after deputies responded to a camp on the side of the road, Vaughn Lane/5th Street. Lodged in Linn County Jail. Report taken.

7:41 a.m. – A single-vehicle non-injury crash was reported in area of Brewster Road/Mt. Hope Drive. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Ayleen Ortiz Valenzuela, 25, of Albany, was driving a 2007 Suzuki, traveling southbound on Brewster Road and drove off the road on the west side of Brewster Road. The vehicle struck a tree, damaging the bark. Damage to the vehicle was over $2,500. Report taken.
4:09 p.m. – A deputy was dispatched to a report of offensive littering, in which someone had defecated in a driveway, 33100 block of Brewster Road. The suspect was determined to be an elderly female having “an emergency,” according to Sheriff’s Office.

7:41 a.m. – Deputies responded to the 30500 block of Merry Lane, where a dog had bitten its owner. Report taken.
11:18 a.m. – Abrianah Smith, 24, was arrested for second-degree trespass and first-degree arson, 300 block of Cascade Drive. According to the Sheriff’s Office, she entered a family member’s house and started a fire in a room, causing severe damage to the home. Deputies were assisted by Lebanon Fire District fire investigators.
9:07 p.m. – James Zenor, 36, of Lebanon, was arrested for driving while suspended and cited for driving uninsured. Cited and released. 400 block of Airport Road. Report taken.

12:09 a.m. – A 14-year-old juvenile was arrested on two counts of fourth-degree assault following disturbance in the 700 block of Lebanite Drive. Lodged at Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Facility. Report taken.
3:25 a.m. – A single-vehicle crash was reported in the 36200 block of Rock Hill Road. According to the Sheriff’s Office, a 1988 Chevy C1500 left roadway and ran into gravel shoulder, crashing into a driveway entrance and striking a mailbox. No one was seen with the vehicle when it was discovered. Its owner said he’d sold it a few months ago. Investigating. Report taken.
9:54 a.m. – Police responded to a two-vehicle crash, Williams and E. Elmore streets. Eden Fay Dominy, 18, was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
12:55 p.m. – Police responded to a call regarding thefts of a virtual-reality headset and Knight Owl security system from a locked case at Walmart, 3290 S. Santiam Hwy. The suspect reportedly had a key for the case and returned to take another security system, but was stopped at the front of the store, where the item was retrieved. The suspect has not yet been identified. Report taken.
5 p.m. – Caller reported witnessing a woman being shoved in the face by a male after she yelled at subjects for spinning their tires and speeding, 5th St. Kelvin Edwin Attebery, 34, was identified as a suspect, and the officer will attempt to cite him for harassment.
7:11 p.m. – Callers reported a neighbor driving up to 100 mph on 5th St. According to one caller, the suspect sped past by her house on Oak and almost crashed and allegedly almost hit a child on the sidewalk. According to the caller, this was an ongoing issue with the driver. Kelvin Edwin Attebery, 34, was cited for a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for probation violation. As he was wearing metal knuckles, he was charged with felon in possession of a weapon. He was also counseled about his driving. Report taken.
8:47 p.m. – Dustin James Phares, 40, was cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, and for a Salem Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended, a Lebanon Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, and Linn County Circuit Court warrants for attempt to elude and unauthorized possession of a controlled substance.

Ashley Amber Schooley, 38, was cited for a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for probation violation, a Linn County Justice Court warrant for probation violation criminal trespassing, and an Albany Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court.

9:15 a.m. – Clarence Herman Vandehey, 42, was cited for a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of harassment.

10:38 a.m. – Deputy performed a welfare check in the 29800 block of Sodaville Mountain Home Road. Paramedics transported a citizen due to concerns about a possible stroke.
11:06 a.m. – Nicholas Nelson, 44, of Sweet Home, was cited for operating a vehicle while using a mobile device and driving with no operator’s license, 28700 block of Santiam Terrace Road.
11:23 a.m. – Kayla Heath, 35, of Lebanon, was arrested for felony strangulation. According to the Sheriff’s Office, DHS reported assault on juvenile, 30900 block of Santiam Hwy.
1:06 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a backpack, headphones, wireless mouse, textbooks and Macbook from unlocked vehicle, which had occurred one month previously, Tasha Way. Loss valued at $2,350.
2:44 p.m. – Police and medics responded to a pedestrian v. vehicle crash, Santiam Hwy. The driver said he was backing up to get a better angle pulling into a parking spot when he must have bumped the pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital. No citations were issued. Report taken.
3:52 p.m. – Burglary reported in an unoccupied house being worked on, 36000 block of Cold Springs Road. According to Sheriff’s Office, two males entered through back door and stole miscellaneous tool and gaming console. Report taken.
8:39 p.m. – Caller reported a kicked-in back door and such stolen items as a Rolex watch, pistol, shotgun, gold necklace, miscellaneous coins and titles to six vehicles, Williams St. Report taken.
9:02 p.m. – Police responded to a call about a found check made out for $500. The account holder reported his checks stolen a month earlier.
April 19
7:19 a.m. – Police and medics responded to a two-vehicle crash, Russell Drive. Brandon Lea Harvey, 36, was cited for failing to stop before leaving a driveway onto a highway. Both drivers complained of injuries. Report taken.
1:39 p.m. – Caller reported a fraud case in the 35100 block of Mike’s Road. According to Sheriff’s Office, caller received an overdue notice for a COVID-19 business loan repayment, when the caller had not taken one out. The caller then learned someone had taken thousands of dollars in these loans under their business name without their knowledge. Needed police report to forward to government agency. Report taken.
3:19 p.m. – Deputy recovered a stolen vehicle in the 2400 block of Cascade Drive. According to Sheriff’s Office, 2006 Ford F350 pickup was stolen from a location in Albany. It was found parked on the side of Cascade Drive stripped of tools. Truck was towed to AA Towing for the owner to pick up. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.
4:53 p.m. – Report taken for two-vehicle crash, Santiam Hwy. Both drivers appear to have been at fault when they entered the highway from opposite sides of the road; none were cited. One was transported to the hospital.
7:51 p.m. – Laurie Francois, 39, of Lebanon, cited and released for third-degree theft following an investigation of an unrelated criminal trespass report in 38600 block Green Drive. Report taken.
April 18
11:20 a.m. – Deputy took report of possible stolen mail in 300 block Russell Street, including EBT card that later was used at local stores. According to Sheriff’s Office, caller was expecting an EBT card in the mail. They never received the card, and learned it had been used when they called to check on it. Unknown if it was stolen out of mailbox or not. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.

11:17 p.m. – Jeffrey Brian Comtois Daggett, 43, was cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and improper display, and for a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for probation violation.
April 17

12:14 p.m. – Deputies checked on female’s welfare after concerned co-workers called to report her leaving work. Female stated she was fine and “just needed some time to relax.” 39300 block Davis St., Waterloo.
7:08 p.m. – Fourteen-year-old juvenile referred to Linn County Juvenile Department for MIP-Alcohol. Juvenile remained in custody of parents. 700 block Central Avenue.
April 16
3:02 a.m. – Joshua Martin Hughes, 20, of Sweet Home, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failure to register vehicle. Also arrested on four outstanding warrants. Transported to and lodged in Linn County Jail. 2400 block S. Santiam Hwy. Report taken.
4:03 a.m. – Caller reported theft of backpack, suitcase, duffle bag, tote, tools and laptop from an unlocked truck, all valued at $2,330, 12th St. Air tags with the objects pinged around town and in Salem. The backpack, suitcase and laptop were recovered in a gravel pit near an I-5 exit. Report to follow.
10:39 a.m. – Caller reported an apartment door was broken into while the resident was not home, Market St. Jonathan Hugh Trisdale IV, 42, was cited for second-degree criminal trespass and first-degree criminal mischief. Report taken.
3:35 p.m. – Sheriff’s Office collected clothing involved in recovery of stolen motorcycle on previous day, 500 block Wagon Wheel Road. This was a black motorcycle jacket found on the property where the stolen motorcycle was recovered.
4:36 p.m. – Jared Schamadeka, 29, of Lebanon, cited for failure to register vehicle, 36100 block Airport Drive.
5:36 p.m. – Deputy stopped elderly male for registration violations, 30600 block Santiam Hwy. Deputy determined the man was living out of his vehicle and was not signed up for social services. Deputy collected the man’s contact information and passed that on to Linn County Senior and Disability Services, and issued him a warning on violations.

2:30 a.m. – David Arroyo Sandoval, 42, of Lebanon, cited and released on several warrants, 2500 block Primrose Street. Report taken.
2:55 a.m. – Kirk Thomas Miller, 43, of Waterloo, cited for driving uninsured, Crowfoot Road/Cascade Drive.
3:10 a.m. – Christian Whitman Ingersoll, 47, of Santa Clarita, Calif., cited for failure to maintain lane, failure to yield to emergency vehicle and no valid operator’s license, 4100 block Santiam Hwy.
4:55 a.m. – Sheri Bower, 50, and David Arroyo Sandoval, 42, both of Lebanon, cited and released for second-degree criminal trespass and offensive littering, 2600 block S. Santiam Hwy. Report taken.
5:49 a.m. – Justin Sean Turnridge, 34, of Lebanon, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, 2200 block S. Main Road.
7:43 a.m. – Fatal single-vehicle crash reported in 33600 block Totem Pole Road. According to Sheriff’s Office, Charles Morley, 45 of Lowell, was driving a 2007 Dodge 1500 when he left the roadway and struck a guardrail on the side of the road. Morley was the only occupant and sustained fatal injuries in the crash. No other vehicles were involved. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.
9:16 a.m. – Sheriff’s Office recovered stolen motorcycle, 400 block Wagon Wheel Road. Zong TT250 motorcycle registered in Vancouver Wash., had been reported stolen while in Sweet Home. Caller reported the motorcycle was left on his property and discovered it was stolen. No suspects seen with the motorcycle. Report taken.
11:16 a.m. – Two callers reported being chased by two dogs, Cascade Dr. The dog owner, Christina Rose LaPointe, 57, was cited for allowing dogs to run at large. Report taken.
11:47 a.m. – Caller reported theft of pillow and blanket from yard, Berry St. Caller said, “If people keep stealing from my property, I’m going to sit out front with my shotgun and take care of it myself.” Christian Travers Fossdal, 49, was taken into custody and charged with third-degree theft and criminal trespass.
5:07 p.m. – Caller reported they were walking their dog when another dog charged and bit it, A St. They were unable to release the dog from their dog. The victim dog and owner sustained minor injuries. Richard McIntite, 46, was cited for dog as nuisance. Report taken.
5:44 p.m. – Caller reported theft of more than $10,000 worth of items from shop in 30000 block Horseshoe Loop. According to Sheriff’s Office, owner of the equipment died while out of the area. The wife later found a large Snap-On rolling tool box worth $10,000 was missing from the shop. No signs of forced entry into the locked shop; also unsure of how long it has been gone since the owner was deceased and would be the last to know where it was at. Investigation ongoing. 9:52 p.m. – Criminal mischief reported in 36600 block W. Airport Road. According to Sheriff’s Office, someone apparently tried to break into the caller’s car in the Willamette Speedway parking lot and spidered the glass on the side window, but did not get inside. Report taken.
10:17 p.m. – Vehicle burglary reported in 36600 block W. Airport Road. This also occurred in the Willamette Speedway parking lot. According to Sheriff’s Office, someone broke the window on a 2021 Toyota Tundra and stole a Tan Montana purse that contained a Sig Sauer handgun, credit cards, a diamond ring, $1,300 in cash and other keys. Total value of $2,500. Report taken.

6:04 p.m. – Deputy contacted female who had parked her trailer on private property in 2400 block of S. Main Road. She was told to move along.
11:57 p.m. – Vehicle burglaries reported in 800 block Wagon Wheel Drive. Shoes and a fishing pole missing from two unlocked vehicles.
5:35 p.m. – Police responded to a two-vehicle crash, Main St. Tammy Jo Stephens, 51, was cited for following too closely. Report taken.
