Reaction among the Sweet Home area’s legislators to the failure of Measure 28 on Jan. 28 was mixed.
“I personally an very disappointed that Measure 28 didn’t pass, particularly because of the medically needy people whose prescription drug assistance will be cut off at the end of the month,” Dist. 6 Sen. William Morisette, D-Eugene, said. “There was a certainty to that.”
