Letter writer appears biased

This is in response to the letter “Correction: Palin not first woman VP candidate” by Rich Black in the Sept. 17 edition.

Mr. Black seems credible for his research on Palin, but why can’t he find anything on Obama? So I tested his theory and Googled “Obama’s Record” and this was the first hit on the search. Here is a quick summary on Obama’s “non-existant” 20 months as senator (from DailyKos.com titled I found the BEEF: Obama’s Senate Record by Helenann):

Sen. Obama has sponsored or co-sponsored 570 bills in the 109th and 110th Congress.

Sen. Obama has sponsored or co-sponsored 15 bills that have become LAW since he joined the Senate in 2005.

Sen. Obama has also introduced amendments to 50 bills, of which 16 were adopted by the Senate.

That does not look like Obama has done nothing since he has been senator. In fact, it looks like he has been quite busy. I must conclude that Mr. Black is only campaigning for his candidate of choice and not critically comparing Obama and Palin.
