Editor:
I wrote a big, long, really thoughtful and well-executed “editorial” about the outcome of these elections.
But, then I decided to just sum it up by saying shame on all those who voted to support corrupt Kate, tax-funded slaughter of the unborn, sanctuary cities (which protect criminals from facing justice, not poor, hard-working families), and the continued misuse and abuse of the public trust while our schools and our public servants go underfunded and unsupported.
I am ashamed of the uber-liberal agenda accepting, supporting and celebrating all that is vile and immoral.
I realize that my right to express my opinions and beliefs, as provided under the First Amendment, will be met with the usual “You’re a racist/bigot/ignorant/deplorable/etc.” type of responses, because that is how the liberal left responds to everything.
I am not a racist, nor any of the other names that I might be called. I will not today or any other day treat anyone any differently than I ever have. I can hate what is going on without hating a person.
I am a Christian, I am an American, I am an Oregonian, I believe in “love thy neighbor” and treating others as I would like to be treated.
But, I also believe that the reason wrong wins is because we refuse to call it wrong and we don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.
Well, I don’t want to hurt people’s feelings, but I am going to call out wrong when I see or hear it. I will not keep being silent while “evil” wins. I pray for this state, this nation, our leaders.
Moving forward I will be praying for all of you. I hope you will pray for me too.
