Linda Ladwig, 62, of Sweet Home died Dec. 20. 2012.
She was born Oct. 20, 1950 in Tulsa, Okla. to Edward and Lois (Hinman) Staton.
She lived in Lynden, Wash. for 20 years and then Everson, Wash. for 20 years. She had lived in Sweet Home for two years.
Mrs. Ladwig was a member of Fir Lawn Lutheran Church in Sweet Home. She was an accomplished artist, working in oil and water colors. She was also an avid crafter, organizing and running several craft fairs in the Lynden area, and also was a dancer and instructor during the 1970s.
Mrs. Ladwig is survived by her mother, Lois Hinman of Sweet Home; daughter Patricia Knight of Everson, Wash.; sons Charles Ladwig and Michael Ladwig, both of Portland; sisters Kathy Rodgers of Sweet Home and Shirley Battles of Missouri; brother Lloyd Staton of Sweet Home; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ladwig, in 1995.
