Little Promises held a dinner and auction fund-raiser in the school gym. A live auction was held following the dinner. School Director Anita Hutchins said the event drew about 180 people and raised some $8,000. Hutchins said funds from the event, organized by Lindsey Walker and Tonya Jensen, will “hopefully do something for the kids to enhance our program. We were real happy with the outcome.”
