Lloyd B. Todd

Jan. 24, 1941-Dec. 31, 2015 Lloyd Beryl Todd passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis.

Lloyd was born in La Harpe, Illinois to Beryl and Thelma (Waterman) Todd. He grew up in Astoria and Canby. He attended school in Astoria. He moved to Sweet Home in early 1970, remaining there for the duration of his life.

During his working life, Lloyd worked in the plywood and lumber industries. He was a millworker at Willamette Industries and worked for individual companies with portable mills and lumber services.

Lloyd was married to Beatrice Yoder in 1960, widowed in 1964. He then married Betty Baker and divorced several years later. In 1969 Lloyd married Christine Biggerstaff until her death in 2002. Starlia Free was his partner from 2005 until her recent passing, on Dec. 22, 2015.

Lloyd was a member of the Sweet Home Rock and Mineral club and the Sweet Home archery club. He enjoyed reloading ammunition and collecting guns.

Lloyd was preceded in death by wives Beatrice, Christine and partner Starlia; his parents Beryl and Thelma Todd and grandsons Roger and Allen Todd, Jr.

Lloyd is survived by daughter Cheryl and Steve Reaves of Canon City, Colo.; sons Allen and Bonnie Todd of Canby, David and Dorothy Davis of Lebanon, Ron Davis of Corvallis, and a brother Greig and Julia Todd of Lebanon. Lloyd is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday Jan. 23, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 2479 Main St.
