The Bully Gang mixed martial arts team will send two fighters to Brass Knuckles Emerald City Cage Fights 4 on Saturday at the Regional Sports Center in Springfield.
Elijah Pauls of Sweet Home will face off against former Bully Gang fighter Brad Seiber of Barracks Gym in Corvallis at 205 pounds. Pauls is 1-0. Seiber is 2-0.
Andy Johnson of Sweet Home will debut for the Bully Gang at 220 pounds against newcomer Jeff Severns of Eugene.
Brad Furst was scheduled to fight, but his opponent canceled.
“I’ve got a lot of faith in Eli (Pauls),” Bully Gang owner Cory Graham said. Eli is a lot like Trevor Tagle (also of Bully Gang). He’s got a lot of potential.
“We’ve never seen Andy fight before,” Graham said, so he’s looking forward to seeing how the fight turns out. “Any guy that’s fighting for the first time, you never know what’s going to happen.”
Doors open at 6 p.m. Fights start at 7 p.m. The Sports Center is located at 200 S. 32nd, Springfield. Tickets, starting at $20, may be purchased through TicketsWest.
