Sweet Home area resident Alex Paul was among several community members honored June 14 by Linn-Benton Community College at the school’s annual commencement ceremony.
Paul, the former publisher of The New Era, now working as a journalist at the Albany Democrat-Herald, received an LBCC Honorary Degree for his ongoing commitment and outstanding service to the college and community. He currently serves on the LBCC Foundation Board of Directors.
