the Univeristy of Oregon this year. She earned a bachelor of science

Shockley was honored during Corban University’s 79th annual
commencement ceremony.
The
ceremony took place Saturday, May 2, at the Salem Armory in Oregon’s
capital. The distinguished guest speaker was Dr. Eileen Hulme,
professor of higher education and leadership at Azusa Pacific
University in Azusa, California.
A
total of 272 graduates took to the stage. Some earned high grade
point averages and graduated with academic honors. Shockley
graduated with a bachelor of science degree, magna cum laude, which
means she finished with a GPA between 3.75 and 3.90.

Jasmin
Yoder, Sweet Home, was one of 148 graduates honored at Hesston
College’s commencement on May 10.
Yoder
earned an associate of applied arts and sciences degree in nursing.
She was also named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2015 semester
with a GPA of 3.90 to 4.00. Located 30 miles north of Wichita,
Kan., Hesston College is a liberal arts college of Mennonite Church
USA.

students from Sweet Home were among more than 300 graduates at Oregon
Institute of Technology’s commencement ceremonies June 13 at John
F. Moehl Stadium in Klamath Falls.
Jonathan
Leonard earned a bachelor’s degree in home operations
management and Crystal Lee Montiguegraduated with a bachelor’s degree in radiologic science.

Sweet Home-area graduate was included in Portland State University’s
class of 2015.
She
is Sarah Tyler, a 2008 graduate
of Sweet Home High School, who earned a bachelor of arts degree in
graphic design. She graduated in fall 2014, but that is considered
part of the 2014-15 class.

Dahlstrom of Sweet Home was one of 747 candidates for degrees
at the Linfield College commencement exercises on May 31 in
McMinnville.
She
earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
