Names of students who have made the Scholastic Honor Roll Winter term have been announced by Oregon State University.
A total of 932 students earned straight-A (4.0). Another 3,634 earned a B-plus (3.5) or better to make the listing. To be on the Honor Roll, students must carry at least 12 graded hours of course work.
Local students on the Honor Roll include: Straight A Average – Jennifer L. Belveal of Sweet Home, sophomore, English, and Abigail R. Joiner Crawfordsville, senior, human development and family science.
Those with Sweet Home addresses finishing with GPAs of 3.5 or better include: Amanda R. Bliege, junior, human development and family science; Emma R. Hessel, sophomore, art; Terra L. Nelson, senior, history; Kaitlyn N. Runia, sophomore, pre-merchandising management; Trevor J. Sipe, senior, exercise and sport science; Kimber E. Swanson, sophomore, music; Stephanie L. Szuch, senior, human development and family science; Nickalaus T. Turner, senior, merchandising management; and Cheryl H. Wilson, junior, chemical engineering. Also finishing with a 3.5 or better was Kenneth N. Walrod, of Cascadia, senior, civil engineering.
