Lolita Colea Powers

Lolita Colea Powers, 74, of Sweet Home passed away Friday, November 29, 2024. She was born September 18, 1950 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Violet C. (Biggs) and Charles C. Sprague.
Lolita served in the United States Air Force for over 17 years. She received a commendation medal.
She lived in various places around the country including California, Colorado, Florida and settled in Sweet Home in 2018. Lolita enjoyed traveling, camping and photographing scenery and wildlife. She worked as an administrator for a mental health residential treatment center.
Lolita is survived by her husband, Keith; daughter, Nicole; step-sons: Alex and Greg; daughter-in-law, Mallory; and granddaughter, Emery Alice. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A viewing will be 12 pm followed by a funeral service at 1 pm, Wednesday, December 11th at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Final burial with military honors will be 2 pm Thursday, December 12th at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements. www.sweethomefuneral.com.
