Lydia Rose Hubbard, 87, of Sweet Home, died Oct. 13 at her home. She was born January 13, 1918 in Waltham, Mass. to Frank and Mary (DeOrazio) Morreale.
She married Elvin G. Hubbard after WWII. They then moved to Twin Rocks, Ore. They moved to Sweet Home in 1955. They loved to travel and fish along the Oregon Coast. Her husband died in 1983.
Mrs. Hubbard attended St. Helen?s Catholic Church. She loved family dinners and holidays. She will be remembered as a great cook and for her wonderful cakes.
She is survived by her children Evelyn Patrick of Terrebonne and Glen Hubbard of Albany; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hubbard was preceded in death by her husband Elvin, her daughter Carol Jean Noble, and her two brothers, Guy and Vincent Morreale.
A funeral mass was held Oct. 18, with final interment at Gilliland Cemetery. Workman & Steckly Funeral Chapel handled the arrangements.
