Lynne Christine (Dubuque) Erickson, 68, of Foster passed away Jan. 8, 2014 at River Bend Hospital in Springfield.
She was born Aug. 29, 1945 in Snohomish, Wash. to David and Elsie Dubuque, the oldest of three children. She graduated from Snohomish High School in 1963 and attended Central Washington University.
She married Erland Erickson in Snohomish on Aug. 6, 1966.
After the birth of their son and daughter, the Ericksons moved to Lake Oswego and later to Foster, where they resided for 34 years.
Mrs. Erickson worked as a secretary in the Counseling Department at Sweet Home High School for 20 years, retiring in 2000. She found her work rewarding, challenging and had the highest regard for the people she worked with.
She is survived by her husband, Erland Erickson; son Sean and daughter-in-law Carli Erickson of Sweet Home; daughter Brooke and son-in-law Rob Robertson of Lander, Wyo.; brother Tom Dubuque of Snohomish; sister Patty and brother-in-law Mark of Marysville, Wash.; sister-in-law Linda and husband Richard Birkby of Springfield; and seven grandchildren: Hayley, Tanner, Larisa, Rylee, Colton, Seth and Caeden.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, at the Sweet Home Senior Center, 870 18th Ave. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Sweet Home High School Activity Fund.
