Under the guise of the “Main Street Incentive Plan,” Oregon state Republicans are proposing a massive transfer of wealth from the state’s general fund to the pockets of individual property owners and businesses.
In this plan, heartily endorsed by our new representative, Sherrie Sprenger, individuals and businesses will be rewarded for property improvements by giving them tax credits of up to $25,000 for individuals and $250,000 for businesses.
