Making spirits bright: The (holiday) lights of the city

Ready to see some spectacular holiday lights as part of your Christmas celebration?

Sweet Home Chamber of Commerce has named the winner(s of its Christmas Lights Contest, which were voted on by the public. Results had not been announced when The New Era went to press, but will be available on the chamber’s Facebook page.

Voters weighed in on 17 entries in the contest, for which winners had not yet been announced when The New Era went to press.

For those who’d like to see some of the best light shows on display in the community, here’s a list that includes the chamber entries, along with some other impressive Christmas decorations we’ve spotted that weren’t entered in the contest. This is not a comprehensive list, but it’s a good summary of some of the most eye-catching displays out there.

So, hey, bottle up some hot chocolate and tour the town! Enjoy!
