Elizabeth Jean Kearney and Manuel Antonio Robledo were married at 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 18, at the Salishan Spa and Golf Resort in Gleneden Beach.
Father Todd Molanari of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Milwaukie officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Cynthia and Jim Doyle of Milwaukie and Michael and Kathy Kearney of Vancouver, Wash. The groom is the son of David and Rachel VanDerlip of Brownsville.
The bride wore a white Maggie Sottero gown with spaghetti straps, a corset back, and a sweetheart neckline enhanced by crystals. Her bouquet was formed with mini white calla lilies.
The matron of honor was Sarah Riese, the sister of the bride. Best man was Brian Riese, commanding officer of the groom, who introduced the couple at his wedding.
The bride, a 1992 graduate of Rex Putnam High School, received her bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Oregon in 1996.
She is currently a marketing analyst for Freightliner Trucking Co.
The groom graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1996 and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Portland State University.
He is a middle school history teacher for the North Marion School District, but has taken a military leave to serve a tour of duty in Afghanistan as a captain in the Oregon National Guard.
