Thank you for the informative article that you printed Nov. 17 about the free Manna meals served at the Sweet Home United Methodist Church on each Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday night.
It is important to the members of our congregation to recognize the many hands that serve the meals we host in our church dining room. Wednesday nights the food is prepared, served and cleanup completed by members of the Cornerstone Fellowship Church.
On Tuesdays and Fridays volunteers include our congregation, Lutherans, Catholics and other denominations plus the Girl Scouts and Manna diners.
Sweet Home United Methodist Church hosts this free dinner sponsored by Sweet Home Emergencies Ministries and feeds between 50 to 100 people each night. Everyone is welcome to dinner starting at 5:00 p.m.
