Margaret Eager Case, 100, of Sweet Home died peacefully Jan. 21, 2012 at Avamere Twin Oaks.
She was born Feb. 20, 1911 on a ranch in Tucumcari, N.M. to John and Nancy (Hensley) Eager.
Mrs. Case moved from Carlsbad, Calif. to Portland in 2000. Three years ago, she moved to Sweet Home to be near her son Bill Case and his wife, Jill.
She enjoyed a long and fruitful life in her many roles of wife, mother, grandmother, court reporter, Klickitat county clerk, pianist, and even tap dancer (the Spotliters in Carlsbad, Calif.). She was known for her selflessness, kindness, resourcefulness, and her ready, engaging smile.
She is survived by her sons, Ralph and Bill; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Final burial will be in Eternal Hills in Oceanside, Calif.
