Marguerite Loux

June 28, 1932 – Nov. 29, 2015

Marguerite Lucile Loux, 83, a former Sweet Home resident, died Nov. 29, 2015 in Pasco, Wash. of natural causes.

She was born June 28, 1932 in Sligo, Mo., the daughter of Thomas and Rita Walker, one of seven children. She was raised in Sweet Home, graduated from Sweet Home Union High School and, on July 4, 1950, married Derril Dean Loux. They had four children.

Mrs. Loux loved sewing, crocheting, gardening, reading and watching television.

She lived in Sweet Home more than 20 years before moving to Washington State in 2013 after the death of her husband.

She is survived by her four children, Rebecca Cole in Eugene; Terry Loux of Pasco, Wash.; John Loux of Corvallis; and Jay Loux of Caldwell, Idaho; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bob Walker of Sweet Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Rita Walker; her husband, Dean Loux; her sisters, Artis Isom and Louise Maxwell; her brothers, Bill Walker, Thomas Walker Jr., and Melvin Walker; and her grandson, Jeffrey Loux.
