Sept. 15, 1957 – Aug. 21, 2015
Maria Pace-Alo, 57, of Sweet Home died Aug. 21, 2015.
She was born Sept. 15, 1957 in Longview, Wash., to Otto and Renate Pfeiffer. She attended St. Rose Catholic Elementary School, Cascade Junior High and graduated from Mark Morris High School in 1976.
She married Bill Pace II in 1976, and moved to El Paso, Texas, where Mr. Pace was stationed in the U.S. Army. There she had her son, Billy Pace III. They were stationed in Germany for two years, then moved back to the Portland area.
After Mr. Pace died in April of 2002, she met TC Alo in 2003. They married in 2008 and lived in Sweet Home until her death.
Mrs. Pace-Alo always had a high capacity to love. When in conversations, she always wanted to know about the other person; she never was much interested in talking about herself.
Mrs. Pace-Alo is survived by her husband, TC Alo; her son, Billy Pace III; her father and mother, Otto and Renate Pfeiffer; a sister, Susan Kish; and brothers Rod Pfeiffer and Tom Pfeiffer.
A Celebration of Life was held Aug. 29.
