Marian Violet Meyers, 96, of Sweet Home died June 1, 2016.
She was born Jan. 21, 1920 in Peoria, Ill. to Harley Edward and Rosena Christina (Sutter) Haas.
She worked at See’s Candies for 20 years in West Los Angeles, Calif. She moved to Sweet Home from Huntington Beach, Calif.
Mrs. Meyers was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and St. Helen’s Catholic Church.
She enjoyed gardening, tole painting, baking and rock collecting. She loved the mountains and the ocean.
Mrs. Meyers is survived by her son Mike and daughter-in-law Loretta Kenney of Huntington Beach, Calif.; daughter Kathy Coffman of Sweet Home; daughter-in-law Marni Kenney of Huntington Beach; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husbands Pat Kenney and Woody Meyers; son Pat Kenney; granddaughter Meighan Coffman; sister Irene Rubly; and brother Harley Haas.
Rosary will be held at 8 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, at St. Helen’s Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will follow at 8:30 a.m.
