Marian E. Nelson, 89, of Sweet Home, died peacefully on March 21, 2020 at Willamette Springs Memory Care Home in Corvallis.
She was born on February 6, 1931 in Mill City, the daughter of Russell and Ellen (Dehaven) King.
She married her high school sweetheart, Sonny Nelson, on Aug. 20, 1950.
Mrs. Nelson worked as a secretary and payroll clerk for Detroit Dam while it was being built.…
