These marijuana plants were discovered when Linn County Sheriff’s deputies and detectives investigated a property at 39016 Crawfordsville Drive, outside Sweet Home, on Tuesday, Sept. 22, Sheriff Tim Mueller said.
Investigators seized 27 illegal mature marijuana plants at the location, growing both indoors and outdoors, Mueller said. Levi Spence Loewen, 28, was charged with manufacturing a controlled substance. He was cited to appear in Linn County Circuit Court. The sheriff said an investigation is continuing.
