Hospitalman 3rd Class Andrew S. Rose, native of Sweet Home, completed the Enlisted Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist Program and received the FMF pin Oct. 1 on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif. This pin is awarded to Navy personnel and it represents the training and qualification of the seamen who support the Marine Corps. Rose is a medical assistant at the 21 Area, Battalion Aid Station and works day-in and day-out to keep service members in action.
