Marjorie Perea

Marjorie Deloris Perea, 80, of Sweet Home died June 26, 2010 at home of natural causes.

She was born on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, 1930, in Jacksonville, Ill. to Louis and Evelyn (Pech) Jackson.

She moved to Sweet Home in the early 1960s from Fairfield, Colo. In 1982, she met Eddie Perea at church and on July 1, 1982, they married. They worked in ministry and missions together for two decades. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her friends, her family, and serving the Lord any way that she could.

She is survived by her sons, James (Jim) Steingrandt of Litchfield, Ill., and David Perea of Lebanon; daughters Colleen Reynolds, of Fenton, Mo., and Rena Croucher of Salem; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Eddie; and two infant daughters, Francis Marie and Sharon Ann.

A memorial service celebrating her life was held June 30 at the Harvest Christian Center, 4231 Long St.
