Mark Andrew Phoenix, 44, of Sweet Home, died June 23, 2021, at his home.
He was born Dec. 28, 1976, in Torrance, Calif., the son of David M. and Retha F. (Arnold) Phoenix. He lived most of his life in Los Angeles before moving to Sweet Home in 2008.
Mr. Phoenix enjoyed video games and hiking, roller coasters, thrill rides and theme parks.
He is survived by his father, David Phoenix of Sweet Home; brother Kevin Phoenix of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; sister Michelle Brantchev-Phoenix of Apex, N.C.; three nieces; and four cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Retha Phoenix, in 2018.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 9, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
