Marlena Jewel Severs, 84, of Sweet Home died Aug. 23, 2014 at the Avamere Rehabilitation of Lebanon.
She was born Aug. 1, 1930 in Woodland, Iowa, the daughter of Ray and Floy Sparks.
She lived in Mill City for many years where she worked for Stewarts Groceries and Pittam Insurance. She had resided in Sweet Home for the past 18 years.
Mrs. Severs loved to travel, listen to music and loved her family unconditionally.
She married Frank Junior Severs in 1992.
She is survived by her children; Allen Severs and Judy Severs; and her companion of the past 18 years, Lowell Pierce.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; parents; a brother, Ivan Sparks; and a sister, Ioris Nichel.
A memorial service was held Sept. 6 at the Santiam Chapel in Lyons.
