Martha L. Bolin, 66, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005 at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis.
She was born Nov. 24, 1939 in Sisters to Dale and Dorothea Taylor. They moved to Sweet Home in 1951. She attended grade school in Sweet Home at Foster Elementary and graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1958.
She was very active in Elkettes and was a past president. She was also a member of the VFW of Sweet Home. Two of her most enjoyable activities were playing bingo and visiting garage sales.
She married Darold Bolin on March 12, 1962 and they have lived in Sweet Home where Martha was a homemaker and raised two children.
Mrs. Bolin is survived by: her husband, Darold Bolin; daughter Darcie (and Greg) Vanderyacht; son Dale Bolin of Sweet Home, one grandson; brothers Bill (and Mary) Taylor and Dan (and Judy) Taylor of Sweet Home, Robert (and Sandie Taylor) of Lebanon; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, at the Elks Lodge. Workman & Steckly Funeral Chapel handled the arrangements.
