Marva L. Davis, 76, of Sweet Home, died Nov. 30, 2012 at Twin Oaks Rehab of heart issues and colon cancer.
She was born May 1, 1936 in Gridley, Calif. to Raymond and Ella (Jones) VanLandt.
She was married twice and had three daughters. In 1998, she moved to Sweet Home with her partner, William Wamsher. They spent 18 years together until his passing in April 2010.
Mrs. Davis enjoyed spending time laughing, telling jokes, and stories. She could bring anyone out of the blues.
She is survived by her daughters, Janice Lowry of California, Candie Esmond and Star Arlt, both of Sweet Home; brother Larry VanLandt and sister Pat, both of California; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
No services are planned. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
