Mary Jean Gohl, 77, of Sweet Home died Aug. 16, 2013.
She was born Feb. 21, 1936 in Roseburg to Leroy and Mary Hazel (Dysert) Buell, one of eight children.
She graduated from Roseburg High school in 1954 and the University of Oregon in 1958 with a BS degree in education.
She had many friends in Oregon, Washington, Utah and Alaska who will miss her greatly.
Mrs. Gohl is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard Gohl; four children, Richard Jr., Douglas, Holly and Amy; a sister, Martha Sabala; brother Frank Buell; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Bethel Lutheran church in Sweet Home at a later date.
