Feb. 16, 1944 – April 20, 2006
Mary Emma Thompson, 62, of Lebanon died April 20, 2006 at the Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.
She was born Feb. 16, 1944 in Redmond, the daughter of Robert and Gertrude (Ballweber) Wagner. She lived in Minneapolis, Minn., until the age of 7 when she moved to Sweet Home, and has resided in the Lebanon and Sweet Home areas since that time.
She was married to Gerald L. Thompson in Lacomb on Feb. 28, 1998.
Mrs. Thompson enjoyed playing bingo, solitaire games and doing crossword puzzles. She loved her dogs and cats and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed attending Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church and the Better Breather Club at Lebanon Community Hospital.
She is survived by four brothers, John and George of Merced, Calif., Edward of Camas, Wash. and Joseph Wagner of Sweet Home; four sisters, Helen Brown and Evelyn Spray of Lebanon, and Hazel Meldgaard and Bonnie Garman of Greeley, Colo .; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1999, as well as a sister, Pauline Voll.
Viewing will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, at the Huston-Jost Funeral Home in Lebanon. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 3111 S. Main Road, Lebanon.
Burial will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery near Lebanon.
