Mavis Adaline Robinson, 81, of Sweet Home died June 22, 2014.
She was born May 2, 1933 in Troy, Idaho to Pearl Chase and Wava Dell Robinson, the youngest in a family of six girls and four boys. She spent most of her childhood with her siblings since their parents died while she was young.
Mrs. Robinson moved to Sweet Home from Florence in the spring of 2008. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, knitting, sewing and embroidering. She loved collecting ceramic dolls and frogs and playing bingo at Wiley Creek Community. She considered raising her kids as her greatest accomplishment.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by a son, Steve and daughter-in-law Lynn Winona of Florence; daughters Sherrie and son-in-law Rick Williams of Sweet Home, Terri and son-in-law Brent Knigge of Veneta; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and all of the extended family members at Wiley Creek Community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Emil Winona on Aug. 3, 1973; son Robert George Winona on Feb. 19, 1999; and all of her siblings.
