Meet The Court; Sportsman’s Holiday 2009, Princess Leah Dauley

Princess Leah Ashley Dauley, 16, will be a senior at Sweet Home High School.

She is one of four members of the Royal Court for Sportsman’s Holiday July 10-12. The Sportsman’s Holiday Queen will be selected at a coronation dinner on July 9.

Dauley is the daughter of Jennifer Norman and Richard Dauley. Her stepparents are Ed Norman and Lydia Dauley.

She is currently involved in cheerleading, the high school Forestry Club, the Amnesty International Club and Leadership. She is a student body officer, and she also is a member of the Sweet Home Police Department Explorers.

She works at McDonald’s.

She enjoys riding her quad and horse, hanging out with friends and helping people.

“I joined the court because I wanted to be that person to represent Sweet Home in a good way and be a role model to little girls who look up to me by doing what is right and not getting into trouble,” she said.

When she graduates from SHHS, she plans to become an airline stewardess. At age 22, she plans to enter the Police Academy and become a police officer.

“I would love to stay in Sweet Home and also possibly become a cheerleading coach,” she said.
