She was born in Tracy, Minn. to Archie and Marlys (Pederson) Embree of Lebanon.
She aspired to be an accountant, but her dreams were cut short by a drunk driver at age 19. She was left a quadreplegic and spent the next 30 years in the care of her mother. She welcomed visitors and enjoyed the company…
